Ikenna is among the winningest Canadian slam poets of all time. He is the 2018 Rio International Poetry Slam champion, the 2014 World Poetry Slam Champion, the 2013 and 2011 Canadian Individual Poetry Slam Champion, and the 2010 and 2009 Canadian Festival of Spoken Word National Slam champion.
